Teletubbies Theme Song

1997–2001

Them damn Teletubbies are freaky.

So wait, let me get this straight, “Teletubbies say ‘Eh-oh!'”, the single based from the Teletubbies intro theme song reached number one in the UK Singles Chart? What’s wrong with England? Anyway, yes it did, in 1997 for two weeks. And it remained in the top 75 for 29 weeks, selling well enough to be certified double-platinum.

The song is of course part of a commercial release—Teletubbies – The Album—but the theme song was the only hit.

The song is credited to composers Andrew McCrorie-Shand and Andrew Davenport. As for performers, well the Teletubbies of course and the narrators for the show.

There’s not really much going on with the song except for laughing, and stuff, but below are the lyrics anyway.
