Losing It with Jillian Theme Song

2010

This show has had less than stellar reviews, but I do find her (Jillian Michaels) strangely appealing. Anyway, Losing It with Jillian is Jillian Michaels’ new reality fitness show—after she left The Biggest Loser.

I got the idea to post about its theme after browsing through NBC.com and doing some investigation. It turns out that the artist behind the theme—Beth Hart—was caught on video promoting the song as the theme to Jillian’s “new show.”

The song is “Learning to Live” and is from Beth’s 2010 release, My California. The song is actually about quitting smoking.

Below is said live performance where she talks about Jillian’s show.

Below is how it sounds on the album.

Sorry but no official opening credits is available as of this moment.

Losing It with Jillian theme song lyrics

I keep my head on straight
And my eyes wide open
I try to move forward
Wishing and hoping
I took a hold of myself
In the middle of November
Don’t you look back now
Is all I can remember

I feel like I’m leaving
Like I’m leaving home
Like the clouds are parting, and I’m not alone

I’m learning to live
Living to learn
Starting to sing my song
Right, or wrong
Breaking away
Setting me free
Free to be my own me
I’m learning to live

I got my vanity crisis
From my beautiful mother
I’m not gonna go there
I’m anything other
Take another deep breath now
It’s just one more hurdle
I’m breaking this line
Before it comes full circle

I feel like I’m leaving
Like I’m leaving home
Like the clouds are parting, and I’m not alone

I’m learning to live
Living to learn
Starting to sing my song
Right, or wrong
Breaking away
Setting me free
Free to be my own me

I found a place where I can lay my shit down
Somewhere that I can finally be myself, be myself

I’m learning to live
Living to learn
Starting to sing my song
Right or wrong
Breaking away
Setting me free
Free to be my own me

I’m learning to live
(Living to learn)
(Starting to sing my song) living to learn
(Right or wrong)
I’m breaking away
Setting me free
Free to be, my own me
I’m learning to live
